As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York, Colorado, and New Jersey, Georgia has extensive experience as a multi-disciplinary social worker, specializing in psychotherapy, program development and implementation, data management and analysis, and clinical supervision. Georgia’s professional career is dedicated to service within the mental health, non-profit, public education, family court and child welfare systems. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2012 (Sko Buffs!) and acquired her Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers University in 2020.

Georgia’s resume boasts 10 years at Hudson County CASA, a non-profit organization providing advocacy in Family Court for children in foster care, 8 years in private practice, and three years at a Newark Public school single-handedly establishing a operating a Medicaid mental health clinic for over one hundred students. Now, Georgia is a founding employee and the Clinical Program Director at OUR HOUSE NYC—  New York City’s only free-standing grief support program offering adult, chid and family, and school-based grief support groups and programming. Georgia also founded and operates Prospect Park Therapy - a Brooklyn-based private practice.
